1. Return Eligibility & Conditions
At Bloom Clocks, we take pride in delivering precision wall clocks, desk chronometers, and heirloom grandfather timepieces. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you may initiate a return within thirty (30) days from the documented date of delivery.
To qualify for a standard refund or exchange, the clock must meet the following criteria:
- Original Condition: The timepiece must be undamaged, unaltered, and free of scratches, scuffs, or wall-mounting wear.
- Complete Packaging: All original packaging, protective styrofoam inserts, mechanical pendulum braces, winding keys, instruction manuals, and certificates of authenticity must be included.
- Unmodified Mechanism: Clock movements (mechanical, quartz, or automatic) must not have been tampered with or adjusted by unauthorized third-party technicians.
2. Step-by-Step Return Procedure
To ensure the safe transit of delicate horological equipment, all returns must follow our standardized authorization procedure:
Initiate Return Authorization
Reach out to our horology support team through our Customer Service portal. Provide your original order reference number, product SKU, and the reason for return.
Receive Return Label & RMA Number
Once authorized, we will generate a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) along with a pre-paid Canada Post or freight shipping label with transit insurance coverage.
Pack Securely
Disengage pendulums or chime locks according to our included guide. Repack the clock inside its factory internal housing and double-walled outer carton.
Courier Handover
Drop off the parcel at any authorized Canadian postal depot or schedule a designated freight pickup for large freestanding grandfather clocks.
3. Horological Inspection & Restocking
Upon arrival at our Canadian fulfillment center in Ontario, our master technicians perform a complete mechanical and aesthetic audit within 48 business hours. This includes testing escapements, quartz oscillation stability, wood and brass finish condition, and packaging completeness.
Restocking Policy: We do not charge restocking fees on unopened items or standard returns in original factory condition. A 15% restocking fee may apply only if original manufacturer packing materials are missing or if deep surface cleaning is required.
4. Refund Issuance & Payment Methods
Once the inspection is approved, your refund is processed immediately back to the original method of payment (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, or Interac e-Transfer in Canadian Dollars CAD).
- Credit/Debit Cards: 3 to 5 business days depending on your banking institution.
- Digital Wallets: 24 to 48 hours for balance reflection.
- Store Credit / Gift Certificates: Issued immediately with zero expiry date.
Please note that original expedited shipping fees (if extra shipping services were chosen beyond our standard Canadian delivery) are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.
5. Damaged, Defective, or Transit-Compromised Items
We maintain comprehensive transit insurance on every clock. In the rare event that your clock arrives damaged or displays a factory defect, please notify us within 7 days of delivery.
For damaged shipments, we will arrange a complimentary immediate replacement or initiate an expedited full refund, including all handling charges. Learn more about our safe delivery standards in our Delivery Information guide.
6. Non-Returnable & Final Sale Items
Certain personalized or specialty items are exempt from regular 30-day return privileges:
- Custom-engraved brass plates or bespoke horological dial commissions.
- Products explicitly labeled as clearance, liquidated display units, or final archive sale.
- Replacement movement components or individual spare parts that have been installed.
